A high school student who had come to his village from Delhi to appear for examination in Gopalganj, Bihar, committed suicide by hanging himself late on Monday night. On receiving information about the incident, police reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. This incident took place in Vrindavan Mauje village of Uchkagaon police station area of the district.
According to the information, Vicky Kumar (17), son of Muna Baitha of Vrindavan Mauje village, lived with his parents in Delhi. From where he had come to his home from Delhi on Sunday itself to appear for the high school examination. On Monday, he had gone to his village school to collect the admit card for appearing in the matriculation examination. Where he could not get the admit card due to lack of meeting with the school principal. The teachers present in the school asked him to come to school again the next day. After that he returned to his home.
It is being told that during this time, late on Tuesday night, he committed suicide by hanging himself in a closed room located on the second floor. The relatives of the deceased were in Delhi at the time of the incident. Whereas only his grandparents and uncle’s family were present at the village house. When Vicky did not come out of the room till late Tuesday morning, the cousin called from outside the door of the upstairs room. But when there was no movement from inside, when we peeped through the hole in the door, Vicky’s body was seen hanging from the noose.
After this, on receiving the information, the dead body was brought down in the presence of Additional Police Station Head Shamshad Raza and Check Post Incharge Sweety Kumari, who reached the spot with the police force. Then the body was sent to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
The check post in-charge said that mobile earphones were found inserted in the ears of the deceased. While the mobile was found switched off. The mobile has been confiscated. When the mobile phone is opened, the reasons for the incident will be known on the basis of call details. Till the time of writing the news, no FIR had been lodged in the police station in the matter. Police is investigating on the basis of post mortem report.
